DOUBLE CHOCOLATE BROWNIE PIE

Prepare this easy brownie pie early for easy serving, topped with ice cream or whipped cream, drizzled with favorite chocolate sauce and sprinkled with a crushed candy cane garnish. If there are extras, just freeze for enjoying another day.

DOUBLE CHOCOLATE BROWNIE PIE

1 stick butter

3 ounces unsweetened chocolate

1 1/2 cups sugar

3 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/2 cup all purpose flour

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1. MICROWAVE (100%) butter and chocolate in microwave-safe mixing bowl 2 to 3 minutes or until melted, stirring twice. Preheat micro-convection oven to 350°.

2. Stir sugar into melted chocolate mixture. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Stir in vanilla. Add flour and chips; mix just until combined. Spread evenly in 8-inch ungreased silicone steamer pan or lightly greased glass pie pan.

3. LOW-MIX (combo-bake) at 350° for 18 to 20 minutes or until center is puffed and edges are set. Cool. Cut into wedges for serving.

TIPS · Most unsweetened chocolate is packaged in 1-ounce squares.

>Be sure to use a silicone spatula when cutting pie in silicone pan.

>Store leftovers covered at room temperature.
